With over 13 years of experience in higher education and the EdTech startup environment, Dr. Amber Artiaga is an accomplished leader in online student experience. She has a special focus on developing community culture and support methodologies to enhance student satisfaction for non-traditional distance learners. Dr. Artiaga is well-versed in academic coaching and advising methodologies, which she uses to increase learner self-efficacy and academic grit for students enrolled in challenging academic and upskilling programs.

She is a national and international academic advising conference speaker, and has directed program operations for professional academic advising and learner success teams. Her responsibilities have included driving continuous improvement strategies, utilizing data to inform organizational decision-making processes, drafting and implementing academic policies, retention and progression plans, leading graduation improvement initiatives, and providing large-scale strategic visioning, supervision, administrative and budget oversight, as well as program design, all specific to the online non-traditional student experience space.
